AKA Activist Today a eulogy for a Chinese dissident;
yesterday a lamentation about fake Christmas trees. Jason Robinson, a college
buddy of mine, points us in the right (technically, left) direction with an
attractive and concise weblog.
Most of the entries are redirects, but Jason has
a great eye for interesting developments. Check him out.
If the tone doesn't quite match that of a typical American do-gooder liberal,
it's probably because he's Canadian.
His mission, in his own words: AKA Activist is my attempt to collect and share stories about people trying to make a difference in the world. It's also about disseminating information that you don't normally see in the mainstream press. Like the tagline says: Inspiration. Information. Education. Hopefully through reading this blog, you'll get inspired, feel empowered to improve your community, champion a cause or charity, or just have an informed conversation about the world and the potential solutions to make it a better place. My name is Jason Robinson aka Activist. Now you try it. Posted: Mon - January 24, 2005 at 06:11 PM | Category: | | | |
