Where I've been on the Web this Week


I've been fortunate this week to find two sites with important things to say about California issues.

In neither case are the blogs focused exclusively on California...like certain blogs are starting to become, much to certain blogger's surprise :-)

An Old Soul ("..is nothing but a very slow learner")

A progressive blogger who writes about national and, increasingly, state education policy under Arnold, as in her recent article: "Fabricator's staff were A**holes to parent callers." Shari, I think it's awesome that you asterisk the word "asshole". It's a family-type blog, after all.


Poverty Barn ("Furnish your mind with more than cookie cutter ideas")

Hilarious name and great stuff, including some San Francisco Giants coverage. Check out this article: "Governor to Eliminate Benefits for Widows and Children"
