A year ago this week...News leaked that Ralph Nader was launching his
largely irrelevant 2004 candidacy.
W was doublespeaking out of both sides of his
mouth on WMD, and continued to slide in the
polls.
It became clear that John Kerry would be the Democratic nominee for President. And even conservatives thought that it looked good for John: "It looks like President Bush will be handing over power to the Iraqis by June 30th.
