Watching Deadwood earlier this summer, I wondered vaguely who Al Swearengen reminds me of. Now I know: Antonin Scalia. It came to me as I imagined his reaction to Roberts being nominated for Chief Justice: "who is the cocksucking motherfucker? Because if he thinks he can just waltz in here and show us his prick and say 'fuck you, I'm in charge' he's fucking fucked."

That's how I imagine Scalia carries on most internal dialogues.
