Another thing Bush and Schwarzenegger have in common......is that they're both enjoying the lowest
approval ratings (and highest disapproval ratings) of their
careers.
A Washington Post poll (link is to a PDF) has President Bush at 48% approve, 51%
disapprove. CNN's numbers (45/53) are even less promising
for W.
Meanwhile, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's stats (steady at an unimpressive 40% approval since early April) have started to slide once again, instead of rebounding after the announcement of the special election, as some had predicted: Schwarzenegger approval ratings sliding (AP) Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's call for a special election and a new advertising campaign to promote his agenda have failed to arrest his slide in popularity, according to a new statewide poll. 37/53.
