Gubernatorial campaign websites are up......for all three would-be
Exterminators.
Phil Angelides's site is the most mature. Note
that it avoids using a prominent facial shot of Phil, who is easily the least
telegenic of the three
candidates:
Phil Angelides / Standing Up for California Bill Lockyer's splash page contains the weirdly pussified statement that he has "all but officially declared that he's running for governor": Lockyer 2006 Steve Westly is still using his 2002 campaign domain name, presumably while he works out the kinks and in advance of an official launch. He has started a 2006 campaign blog on this site and it's clear that this will morph into a proper gubernatorial campaign site eventually: Steve Westly 2006 I would give Stevie extra points for having a blog, but it's not RSS syndicable so he gets no love from me. At the moment, none of these pages are the #1 Google hit when one searches for "<first name> <last name> governor" -- who will make it to the top first?
