San Francisco Drinking Liberally FIRST ANNIVERSARYCongratulations to the SF chapter of Drinking
Liberally, which turns 1 year old
tonight.
Stop on by. (I will continue my tradition of not being there, this time because I'm trapped under heavy furniture at work, but hope to change that tune sometime soon...) Here's the
announcement:
America isn't the only entity celebrating a birthday this week. Come tonight and celebrate the first anniversary of San Francisco's very own Progessive Drinking Club! The San Francisco chapter of the League of Pissed Off Voters will also be sharing pitchers with us. Here's a short list of what we have accomplished in the first year: -- Grown to be a group with many regulars and newcomers each week -- Networked with other groups like Music for America, Driving Votes and SF Young Dems while maintaining our own identity -- Promoted local and national political activism -- Built an open-minded community of friends that spans all ages and political interests San Francisco Drinking Liberally Zeitgeist (199 Valencia Street, at Duboce) 7-9 PM We tend to gather outside at the left side of the mural Look for me, the blonde gal with the backwards baseball cap, or call me at 914.907.1176 Questions?
