Gone marchin'Marching Orders will be inactive from now until
Monday, June 27th. I'll be camping (!), off the grid and completely without
internet access during that time.
If you hear of a story that's not being covered
by the mainstream press, or have any thoughts or ideas you'd like to share,
please leave a comment.
If you need a news fix, here's where you can find out the latest on... Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger State Controller Steve Westly State Treasurer Phil Angelides The 2005 California special election ...or just explore any of the great sites on the blogroll. I keep meaning to divide it up into "California" and "other" categories, but haven't gotten around to it. Otherwise, I'll see you in a week. I'll probably photoblog the trip, so come on back on the 27th, if only for some dazzling amateur nature photography. In the near future, Marching Orders will be undergoing some changes: I'm thinking about changing platforms to a server-side blogging solution, as well as altering the look and feel of the site. After all, our hemiblogiversary is coming up on the 12th of July, and it seems appropriate to consider what's worth keeping and what's worth changing. Feel free to weigh in on that subject, too, if you like. Thanks for reading. Please do come back... :-) In the meantime, take care and be well.
